Fiber optic cables for advanced connectivity
The FiberCable 4.0 project is aimed at designing, developing, and producing fixed-installation fiber optic cables with a highly innovative thermoplastic sheath. Its primary goal is to achieve at least 33% higher data transmission capacity compared to current technologies, supporting the deployment of 5G and, prospectively, 6G networks. The project aims to enhance national communication infrastructure, facilitating the transition toward Industry 4.0 paradigms.
