Solutions for advanced connectivity and sustainability
The CircularEconomyCable project aims to develop a new generation of electrical and telecommunication cables, integrating advanced functionalities with innovative compositions focused on circularity, traceability, and environmental sustainability.
These new cables will be designed to deliver high performance in energy transmission and data connectivity, with an optimized lifecycle—especially at end-of-life—aligning with circular economy principles and the digital transition.
The Project Involves the Development of:
New technological solutions for electrical and telecom cables with functionalities not yet available in the international state of the art.
Innovative material compositions that ensure low environmental impact during production, usage, and disposal.
High-tech sheaths made from bio-based polymer matrices and recycled materials (both chemically and mechanically).
Expected results and impacts:
