Michele, Head of the Environmental Division
His story
When I joined opus automazione, I was 25 and had just completed my bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
I wanted to challenge myself for a few months before going back to pursue my master’s degree.
I started with a three-month contract. My main task was entering items into the internal maintenance management system. Before the contract ended, I was asked to take a more active role in the environmental division, specifically in the maintenance department.
I found myself at a crossroads: continue working at opus automazione or go back to university.

Since 2009, the company has experienced steady growth both economically and in terms of staff, reaching its current size of nearly 80 employees.
As a result of this growth, in 2017 the need arose for a technically skilled coordinator to lead the maintenance team. Given my experience and knowledge of the sector, I was selected to take on this role.

Susj, Head of Administration
His story
In 2000, when I started working at opus, I was a recent high school graduate in accounting.
I had already gained some work experience, but I felt the need to begin a more stimulating professional path in a company that would allow me to grow.
Through word of mouth, I heard about an open position at Opus—they were looking for someone to handle administration and accounting. I decided to take the leap and applied for the job.
The selection process went well, and I was hired. I signed my first contract at Opus—a part-time, fixed-term contract—which was converted into a full-time, permanent position after just two months.
Throughout my professional journey, I’ve been constantly supported and trained.
I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals and continuously update my knowledge in accounting, administration, the use of management software, and workplace safety—particularly in my role as the company’s Health and Safety Representative (RLS).
I’ve grown both professionally and personally. In my role as Head of Administration, I bring dedication and enthusiasm to my work. I approach the team in my department with confidence and pride—the same trust that Opus has placed in me for over 20 years.
Riccardo, Head of the Hardware Division
His story
I joined opus automazione in 2020 as a specialized technician in the hardware division.
I had a dream: to bring robotics to Tuscany—and I was determined to make it happen.
I applied to the company for an open position as a hardware designer. During the interview, I also presented a personal robotics project, complete with a business development plan that aligned perfectly with Opus Automazione’s core business.
The management believed in my idea and decided to fund it, establishing the industrial and collaborative robotics division. To support R&D activities, a dedicated lab was set up for the development of robotic applications.

I’ve always wanted to show my passion for my work by giving my best in every challenge.
Thanks to this mindset—and the company’s support—in just three years I became Head of the Hardware Division, which has allowed me to take on even more new and exciting challenges.
