Integrated maritime management software
The Prog-Ship project was created to develop an innovative software suite for the integrated management of all phases in the lifecycle of leisure and commercial vessels. The suite supports activities such as budgeting, design, construction, maintenance, and logbook management. It offers a flexible, modular system tailored especially for the needs of small and medium-sized shipyards. The project was funded by the Tuscany Region in collaboration with the University of Padua, 3j Yachting (Grosseto), and Finanza Futura (Florence).
The Prog-Ship suite includes:
Budgeting Module: Assists in estimating costs related to design, materials, instrumentation, labor, and project timeline projections.
Design Module: Manages materials, technical processes, schedules, and required competencies.
Job Management Module: Offers tools for managing raw materials, orders, processes, human resources, costs, safety, and activity history with online verification.
Maintenance Module: Supports the planning and execution of preventive and scheduled maintenance, archiving, documentation, and statistical reports.
Logbook Module: Manages provisions, onboard resources, event tracking, photo reporting, and provides an economic overview of voyages.
