The customer required a duration bench to manage 8 electric pumps of two types: electric pump controlled by a LIN interface; directly powered electric pump.

For this purpose, opus automazione has created a bench for performing temperature, speed, acceleration, pressure drop and temperature profiles, simulating all the real conditions to which the test piece is subjected.

The height of the pump top is set by means of a jack, to reproduce different intensities of suction.

The bench manages both direct-fed pumps and LIN-controlled pumps. Each of the 8 lines can supply currents up to 35 Amperes with voltages from 0 to 20V. The power supply system is also equipped with an energy recovery circuit during the pump deceleration phases.

The software, designed and built by opus automazione, allows one to set up the test and obtain the complete test report. The HMI interface enables the complete management of the desk and the display of the current status of the tests in progress and the alarms and / or warnings of the system. It is possible to create test procedures and operating cycles that can be saved on file.

The test is stopped in case of exceeding of pressure limit/torque/temperature.
