The oil pump durability test bench was developed by opus automazione for an important Japanese customer of automotive sector.

opus automazione has in recent years seen with increasing interest the opportunities offered by the international market, extending its range of action especially in  USA and China.

The company has also participated at several internationalization calls, including the POR Creo Fesr 2014-2020 Call  (2017) and the “Aid for micro, small and medium enterprises for  internationalization processes” (2015), promoted by the Tuscany region .

The project, completed  few days ago, concerns the new “two-head” oil pump durability test bench made for the first time for Japanese market.

This test bench is used to test oil pumps of automotive engines, performing speed, acceleration, pressure drop and temperature profiles. It can test two pumps (per head) simultaneously, and it is equipped with a heat exchanger to accelerate the oil cooling.

opus automazione has also developed for the bench a data acquisition system and interface software: in this way it is possible to control the functions, memorize and recall the test recipes, create alarm logs and trends.

It was a pleasure to start a collaboration with this important Japanese customer,” says Stefano Batistini, CEO of opus automazione “we met very competent, precise and punctual people. The challenge for our company is to increasingly increase our presence in new markets. We can therefore count on highly specialized technicians who operate across the world in off-shore and off-shore plants ”.
