Recognition of the commitment from Opus Automazione for Health and Safety in the workplace.

On 14th February 2018, Opus Automazione participated in the “Contractors Safety Forum”, an event for the prevention of accidents in the workplace. Every year the forum is organized by Adriatic LNGthe first offshore regasification plant in Italy and a valued client of opus.

The forum is an important occasion for Adriatic LNG, and its partner companies, to meet and share on security issues. The theme of this edition was “Hurt free, together let’s make it possible” . The aim was to raise health and safety awareness amongst companies and to work together to prevent accidents from taking place.

During the event, the “Contractor Safety Award 2017” was presented to Opus,as recognition for its strong partnership in the field of security.

“Participation in the security forum represents for our company, an important moment to share with the client and the other partners, the objectives of growth and improvement in such a fundamental area of our daily work” explains Simone Gabbricci, Partner at Opus Automazione. .”Working with companies such as Adriatic LNG acts as an incentive to commit ourselves more and more to safeguarding the safety of our workers and improving safety performance”.

The management of opus automazione has always been committed to the design and implementation of appropriate measures to prevent and protect against the risk of accidents. Since 2016 we have adopted a Corporate Health and Safety Management System compliant with the requirements of the international OHSAS standard 18001: 2007. All our staff are fully trained and informed about the health and safety issues related to their activities. They are also made aware of compliance regarding procedures in the performance of all activities at external sites, offices and all other workplaces.
